- darren livesey Review added: 2018.03.12★ ★ ★ ★ ★I decided to take my boyfriend back to the lakes where we shared our first date and I booked us into The Westmorland Inn for 2 nights, we didn't see the staff very often but that was not fault of theirs we arrived late the first night and then was out all day the next. From the brief encounter we had it showed us how helpful friendly and polite they were and gave a great impression that no request would be to much for them. I had a few surprises lined up and Luke the manager and his staff helped me arrange and sort everything I needed for it all, they were a great help. The room was perfect for our needs and beautifully decorated. The hotel was a short walk though the main part of the village away from the lake Windermere which made for some interesting window shopping on the way. As the hotel management state there is no parking but again this is due to no fault of their own, but the hotel is not even 50 meters away from a perfect car park. £15 for 3 days couldn't have asked for better. So all in all a perfect place to visit for a getaway to the lakes. Thank you from Darren and Ryan, Room 1 from the 13th to the 15th of September 2017.
